The primary use I have found is for lip glosses and or lipsticks. It took almost 15 minutes to get the gel to 151 degrees but I just could not get it to 160 degrees no matter what I did. It was extremely sticky and did not liquify at all. I put 15 drops of lip safe color in it anyway to see how it would look and it was pretty in the beaker but when I tried some, no color transfered to my lips. It was just clear gloss. Because it was so thick, I couldn't get it in the gloss tubes at all. Trying to clean up afterwards was an ordeal. Whatever this stuff is made of, it took several minutes of washing with Dawn PowerWash to get the gel off of my utensils. I threw the rest of the Versagel away.
